BELGRADE – The new speaker of the Serbian parliament will be Nebojsa Stefanovic, vice president of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), reads Belgrade daily Pres on Tuesday.

The daily adds that Stefanovic’s election as chair of the Serbian parliament is expected by the end of the week. Zaharije Trnavcevic, chairman of the constitutional session of the Serbian parliament, said that he does not know when the constitutional session of the parliament will be continued.
